Shopping in a spring garden

The visitors of Bikini Berlin shopping mall are now able to experience what it means to shop in a spring garden - or at least imagine it more easily. Artist Rebecca Louise Law has come up with a concept of a suspended garden, blossoming on the ceiling of the shopping center. This construction is surprising in several ways: firstly, there are 30, 000 different flowers which are live and hand just above the heads of the visitors. Secondly, the wide palette of colors makes the garden a real pleasure for the eyes and brings the sense of spring to the shopping space. According to the artist, the “Garten” (garden in German) installation invites to contemplate the nature, celebrate the joy of spring color and feel the touch of the outdoors inside the building.
